Every vial we sell can be checked by you, not just by us. Bio-Peptide and Genheal products carry a unique code hidden under a hologram, which you verify on the manufacturer’s own website. That check is independent of this shop: the answer comes from the manufacturer, not from us.

How to check the code under the hologram

  1. Find the hologram sticker on the box or vial label.
  2. Scratch the coating off to reveal the code underneath.
  3. Go to the manufacturer’s verification page and enter the code exactly as printed.
  4. The site confirms whether the code is genuine and whether it has been checked before.

A code that has already been used, that fails verification, or that is missing altogether is a reason to stop and contact us before using the product.

The certificate of analysis

A code proves the packaging. A certificate of analysis, or COA, describes what is inside it. A genuine COA states the identity of the substance, the batch or lot number, the date of testing and the methods used, above all HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity.

Who ran the test matters as much as the numbers on it. An in-house test is run by the manufacturer on its own product. An independent test is run by a laboratory with no stake in the result, and for research material that is what counts as verification.

Where a certificate carries a unique key or report number, check it at source rather than trusting the copy you were shown. For Janoshik certificates the key is entered at janoshik.com/verify, and the portal should return the same purity, the same identity and the same test details.

What purity to expect

The reference point for research material is at least 99 percent by HPLC. Below 98 percent is under standard, and below 95 percent is a reason to reject the batch.

One caveat is easy to miss: HPLC tells you how pure the sample is, not what it is. A vial can be 99.5 percent pure and still contain the wrong molecule. Only mass spectrometry confirms identity, by comparing the measured mass against the mass expected for the peptide on the label. A certificate with HPLC alone is incomplete.

If something does not check out

Write to info@peptyd.org with the product name, the batch number and what the verification returned. Do not use the vial in the meantime. Independent analyses of research peptides on the market have found endotoxins, truncated peptide chains, heavy metals and mislabelled contents, which is the whole reason this page exists.
