Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 combination

A single vial containing ipamorelin and CJC-1295, the most commonly bought pairing of the three. Sold as research material, not as a medicine.

What is in the vial

Nouveaux Ltd. is the only manufacturer offering this pairing pre-mixed here, in a 10 mg vial holding the combined content. For a different brand, or for control over the ratio, the components are sold separately: ipamorelin from all three manufacturers and CJC-1295 likewise. Why this is the default pairing

Ipamorelin is the selective component: in the 1998 study describing it, it released growth hormone comparably to GHRP-6 without raising ACTH or cortisol above the level seen after GHRH alone, and it gives minimal appetite stimulation. That is why this pairing is the default rather than the GHRP-6 one.

Put the three side by side and the choice is simple to state. This one is the neutral option; GHRP-2 gives the higher growth hormone peak with a cortisol and prolactin rise; GHRP-6 brings intense hunger. Nothing in the published research says which produces the better outcome in a person, because that has not been measured.

Why these two are sold together

A GHRH analogue and a ghrelin receptor secretagogue act on two different pituitary receptors. When both fire together the growth hormone pulse is larger than from either alone, which is the entire reason for pairing them. Buying them pre-mixed saves one reconstitution and one price; it has no demonstrated advantage over two separate vials.

What the evidence is

As of April 2026 no randomised human trial had been published for any specific GHRH and secretagogue pair. The mechanism is described; the outcome in people, meaning body composition, strength or recovery, has not been measured in a controlled trial. Ipamorelin's own record is worth repeating here: its single completed human trial tested postoperative ileus in 114 patients and missed its primary endpoint. There are no studies of its effect on body composition, muscle mass or bone density. We publish no dosing schedules.

Status

Neither component is an approved medicine. Both belong to category S2 of the World Anti-Doping Agency list, prohibited in and out of competition.

The larger growth hormone pulse is the mechanistic argument. No randomised human trial has tested the pair for any outcome.

Can I buy the two separately?

Yes, and that is the only way to control the ratio or to pick a different manufacturer.

Is it allowed in sport?

No. Both components are prohibited at all times under category S2.
