What is in this vial
Both brands of HCG here come in the same 5000 IU vial, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 5 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 1000 IU per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

What the evidence says

What chorionic gonadotropin is
HCG is a glycoprotein hormone produced by the placenta during pregnancy. Its structure lets it act on the same receptors as luteinising hormone, which the pituitary produces in both sexes. Medicine has used this for decades, mainly in fertility treatment and in undescended testes in boys.
In men luteinising hormone is the final signal in the hypothalamus, pituitary and testes axis. The pituitary sends LH, and the Leydig cells in the testes respond by producing testosterone. Chorionic gonadotropin imitates this signal, which is why it acts directly on the testes and not on the brain.
Chorionic gonadotropin is the active substance of registered medicines. The Polish Register of Medicinal Products lists Pregnyl 5000 IU, and in the European Union a recombinant form is authorised as Ovitrelle; the Ovitrelle product information at the European Medicines Agency states that it is dispensed only on prescription. You will not find an administration scheme on this page, and that is a deliberate decision.
Preparing the solution and storage
The powder has to be dissolved before use. Add the solvent slowly, directing the stream down the wall of the vial rather than straight onto the powder. Do not shake the vial: a gentle swirl is enough until the powder disappears. Vigorous mixing makes the solution foam and damages the molecule.

Why two ampoules change the arithmetic
The Bio-Peptide box holds two solvent ampoules. The volume of solvent does not change the amount of substance in the vial, but it changes the concentration.

Choosing between the two is a choice between a smaller injection volume and more precise measuring.
Common mistakes with this product
The first mistake is mixing up units. IU are international units, not micrograms, and there is no simple conversion between them; the reason is explained in IU and milligrams. The second is leaving the ready solution out of the fridge, even for a few hours in a bag. The third is counting syringe marks without checking what volume the vial was dissolved in. The fourth happens at purchase: assuming that research material is the same as a pharmacy medicine. The same molecule in a registered medicine comes with quality control, a leaflet and an established dose.
What studies in men showed
Chorionic gonadotropin has decades of clinical research in humans behind it, not only in animals. Few products in this shop have their effects described this well. The table gathers the key numbers.

In the 2025 Korean study, median testosterone on HCG alone rose from 0.10 to 3.16 ng/ml. Testicular volume grew during treatment from 4.0 to 9.0 ml. Testosterone responds within a few days, semen and testes only after months.
In the 2025 meta-analysis, combining HCG with FSH produced more sperm than HCG alone. The rise in testosterone and testicular volume was similar with both treatments. The 2013 study was retrospective and had no control group, so its result is a pointer rather than final proof.
The US label of a chorionic gonadotropin drug also carries one important caveat. HCG is not an effective aid in treating obesity, and there is no evidence that it increases weight loss beyond the effect of diet alone.
