What is in the vial
Two manufacturers supply this form: Genheal in 5 mg vials, Nouveaux Ltd. in 10 mg. Bio-Peptide does not list the DAC version, which is why this page has two rows where the version without DAC has three.
Concentration is set when the powder is dissolved. A 5 mg vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg per millilitre, a 10 mg vial with the same 2 ml gives 5 mg per millilitre. The arithmetic is worked through in the guide on reconstitution.
With DAC or without
The difference is duration, not strength. With DAC, the human study reported a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days and IGF-1 elevated for 9 to 11 days, meaning a sustained rise rather than a pulse. The version without DAC acts briefly and is meant to imitate the body’s own pulsatile release. Which of those you want is the whole basis for choosing between them.
The consequence is easy to overlook: a molecule that stays active for days cannot produce the on and off pattern that the body’s own secretion has. Whether that matters is exactly what has not been settled by any trial. The two forms are compared in the guide on CJC-1295 with DAC or without DAC.
Limits and status
Neither form is approved for human use. Both sit in category 2 of the FDA 503A list and on the World Anti-Doping Agency list in section S2.2.4. There are no randomised human trials of CJC-1295 combined with any secretagogue, which is the pairing it is usually bought for.
We publish no dosing schedules. The ones circulating on forums are not derived from clinical research, and with a compound that stays active for over a week the gap between a schedule and its effect is wider than usual.

Which form should a comparison start from?
They answer different questions. The DAC form gives a sustained elevation, the plain form a short pulse. Nothing in the published research ranks one above the other for a person.
Is the long half-life an advantage?
It means fewer administrations for the same exposure. It also means that anything unwanted lasts just as long, and there is no way to stop it quickly.
Is it allowed in sport?
No. GHRH analogues are prohibited at all times under section S2.2.4 of the World Anti-Doping Agency list.
