CJC-1295 with DAC, 10 mg. CJC-1295 with DAC is the long-acting form: the modification binds the molecule to blood proteins and stretches its action from minutes into days.

What is in the pack

It is the largest CJC-1295 with DAC pack in this catalogue, which makes it the cheapest per milligram and also the one that stands longest in solution once opened. Nouveaux Ltd. supplies this product as a dual-chamber cartridge: 10 mg of freeze-dried powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so no liquid has to be moved from one container to another. After activation with the included millilitre the solution stands at 10 mg per millilitre, which is 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe.

The conversion of an amount into insulin syringe units is worked through in the guide on syringe units, and the rules that change once the powder is dissolved are in storage.

Nouveaux Ltd. as the manufacturer

Nouveaux Ltd. has the narrowest catalogue of the three and the largest packs: BPC-157 20 mg, CJC-1295 10 mg, sermorelin 10 mg, PEG-MGF 10 mg and follistatin 2 mg are all exclusive to this brand here. A larger pack costs less per milligram, and it also stands longer once dissolved, which is the trade-off to weigh before ordering.

What the evidence says

A human study reported a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days and IGF-1 elevated for 9 to 11 days. There are no randomised trials of the pairing it is usually bought for. The full account, with the sources and the limits, is on the CJC-1295 with DAC page, and the background in the guide on CJC-1295 with DAC or without.

We publish no dosing schedules. Sold as research material, not as a medicine.

This is the larger of the two DAC packs sold here, 10 mg against 5 mg from Genheal, and Bio-Peptide does not list the DAC form at all. With a molecule that stays active for days, a larger pack means fewer purchases rather than more frequent use.

Concentration in this cartridge

Total liquid Concentration Per unit on a U-100 syringe
1 ml 10 mg/ml 100 mcg
2 ml 5 mg/ml 50 mcg
5 ml 2 mg/ml 20 mcg

The table is arithmetic and nothing else: it converts the 10 mg in this cartridge into the concentration for a given total volume of liquid. The 1 ml row is the cartridge as supplied, after the chambers are joined; the other rows show what further dilution would give. It is not a dosing recommendation, and we publish none.

The same compound is sold here in one other version: Genheal, 5 mg. The molecule is identical in each; what differs is the manufacturer and the amount in the pack. This is the largest of the 2 packs, which makes it the cheapest per milligram and the one that stands longest in solution.

Also from Nouveaux Ltd. in this group

Within Growth hormone peptides, Nouveaux Ltd. also supplies CJC-1295 10 mg, GHRP-2 10 mg and GHRP-2 and CJC-1295 10 mg.

What DAC stands for

DAC stands for drug affinity complex. In practice it is a linker attached to the CJC-1295 molecule. After subcutaneous injection the linker binds firmly to circulating albumin, a plasma protein present in the blood in large amounts.

The effect is purely mechanical. A peptide bound to a large protein is not quickly removed by the kidneys and stays in the circulation for many days instead of minutes. The way it acts on the pituitary does not change; only the time for which the molecule is available does. With a half-life of 6 to 8 days and IGF-1 raised for 9 to 11 days after one dose, administration usually takes place once or twice a week.

A steady level against natural pulses

The body releases growth hormone in pulses spread over the day, most strongly at night. CJC-1295 with DAC does not reproduce that rhythm. It keeps stimulating the GHRH receptor continuously and raises the average hormone level over the day.

That is the core of the debate between the two versions. Supporters of the DAC form value convenience and stability; supporters of the short-acting form argue that imitating natural pulses is closer to physiology. There are no decisive human studies comparing the two approaches, so this is a choice between two logics rather than between a better and a worse version.

Both versions in one table

Feature CJC-1295 with DAC CJC-1295 without DAC
Half-life About 6 to 8 days Short, counted in minutes
Effect on growth hormone Steady, raised level Short pulse around the injection
IGF-1 rise after a dose Lasts 9 to 11 days Short-lived
Frequency Once or twice a week Several times a day
Pack use Slower Faster

Human data are very limited: one phase 1 study from 2006, with no completed phase 2 or phase 3 trials for either form. Both versions are on the World Anti-Doping Agency list in category S2. The full comparison is in the guide on CJC-1295 with DAC or without.

The cartridge in practice

The Nouveaux Ltd. pack is a dual-chamber cartridge: 10 mg of powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so nothing has to be transferred between containers. After activation the solution stands at 10 mg per millilitre, or 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe. With a molecule taken once or twice a week, one cartridge lasts a long time, so keep it in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light, from the moment it is activated.

Who this cartridge is for

You want to inject rarely and prefer a stable level to pulses: DAC is made for that, and this is the larger of the two DAC packs sold here. You would rather imitate the natural rhythm: take CJC-1295 without DAC or Mod GRF 1-29. You want to dissolve the powder yourself: the Genheal version is a classic vial.

What doses at different intervals did in mice

In 2006 a Johns Hopkins University team checked how often CJC-1295 has to be given to replace missing GHRH. They used mice that do not make their own GHRH and therefore grow poorly. For five weeks, young mice received 2 micrograms every 24, 48 or 72 hours.

Interval between doses Result after 5 weeks
Every 24 hours normal body weight and body length
Every 48 hours more than placebo, normal femur and tibia length
Every 72 hours more than placebo, without full catch-up in growth

In all treated groups body composition was normal, meaning the share of muscle and fat tissue matched healthy animals. The pituitary gained more cells producing growth hormone. Results in mice do not carry over directly to humans, so these intervals show the principle, not a schedule.

What changes in the blood after a week

In 2009, researchers at Ohio University examined the blood of 11 healthy young men before a CJC-1295 injection and one week after it. They were looking for proteins that could serve as new markers of growth hormone action. After a week, the amount of one form of apolipoprotein A1 and one form of transthyretin fell. The amount of three other proteins, including albumin fragments, rose, and one of them rose together with IGF-1.

In healthy adults in a 2006 study, a single injection raised IGF-1 for 9 to 11 days, while the natural pulses of growth hormone secretion were preserved. The whole timeline is described in the guide CJC-1295 with DAC: effects in studies day by day.

Questions

How much CJC-1295 with DAC is in this cartridge?

10 mg of lyophilised powder from Nouveaux Ltd., in a dual-chamber cartridge with 1 ml of solvent.

What concentration does the included millilitre give?

10 mg per millilitre, which is 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe. Other volumes are in the table above.

Is this the same molecule as the Genheal vial?

Yes. CJC-1295 with DAC is the same compound in every pack here. The difference is the manufacturer and the amount: 10 mg in this one against 5 mg in that one.
