CJC-1295 with DAC, 5 mg. CJC-1295 with DAC is the long-acting form: the modification binds the molecule to blood proteins and stretches its action from minutes into days.

What is in this vial

It is the smaller of the CJC-1295 with DAC vials sold here, which means less substance standing in solution at a time. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

The conversion of an amount into insulin syringe units is worked through in the guide on syringe units, and the rules that change once the powder is dissolved are in storage.

Genheal as the manufacturer

Genheal covers the growth hormone axis more completely than the other two brands and is the only one here supplying the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend and tesamorelin. Its vials carry a code under the hologram and a batch certificate, checked the same way as any other brand in this shop.

What the evidence says

A human study reported a half-life of 5.8 to 8.1 days and IGF-1 elevated for 9 to 11 days. There are no randomised trials of the pairing it is usually bought for. The full account, with the sources and the limits, is on the CJC-1295 with DAC page, and the background in the guide on CJC-1295 with DAC or without.

We publish no dosing schedules. Sold as research material, not as a medicine.

Genheal is the only brand here that fills CJC-1295 in both forms, so this DAC version can be set against the plain one from the same producer. The DAC complex binds the molecule to albumin and stretches its action from about half an hour to days, which is a decision about the shape of the exposure, not about strength.

Concentration in this vial

Water added Concentration Per unit on a U-100 syringe
1 ml 5 mg/ml 50 mcg
2 ml 2.5 mg/ml 25 mcg
5 ml 1 mg/ml 10 mcg

The table is arithmetic and nothing else: it converts the 5 mg in this vial into the concentration you get for a chosen volume of bacteriostatic water. It is not a dosing recommendation, and we publish none.

This vial next to the other CJC-1295 with DAC vials

The same compound is sold here in one other version: Nouveaux Ltd., 10 mg. The molecule is identical in each; what differs is the manufacturer and the amount in the vial. This is the smallest of the 2, so less substance stands in solution at a time.

Also from Genheal in this group

Within Growth hormone peptides, Genheal also supplies CJC-1295 5 mg, GHRP-2 10 mg and GHRP-2 and CJC-1295 10 mg.

What DAC stands for

DAC stands for drug affinity complex. In practice it is a linker attached to the CJC-1295 molecule. After subcutaneous injection the linker binds firmly to circulating albumin, a plasma protein present in the blood in large amounts.

The effect is purely mechanical. A peptide bound to a large protein is not quickly removed by the kidneys and stays in the circulation for many days instead of minutes. The way it acts on the pituitary does not change; only the time for which the molecule is available does. With a half-life of 6 to 8 days and IGF-1 raised for 9 to 11 days after one dose, administration usually takes place once or twice a week.

A steady level against natural pulses

The body releases growth hormone in pulses spread over the day, most strongly at night. CJC-1295 with DAC does not reproduce that rhythm. It keeps stimulating the GHRH receptor continuously and raises the average hormone level over the day.

That is the core of the debate between the two versions. Supporters of the DAC form value convenience and stability; supporters of the short-acting form argue that imitating natural pulses is closer to physiology. There are no decisive human studies comparing the two approaches, so this is a choice between two logics rather than between a better and a worse version.

Both versions in one table

Feature CJC-1295 with DAC CJC-1295 without DAC
Half-life About 6 to 8 days About 30 minutes
Effect on growth hormone Steady, raised level Short pulse around the injection
IGF-1 rise after a dose Lasts 9 to 11 days Short-lived
Frequency Once or twice a week Several times a day
Vial use Slower Faster

Human data are very limited: one phase 1 study from 2006, with no completed phase 2 or phase 3 trials for either form. Both versions are on the World Anti-Doping Agency list in category S2. The full comparison is in the guide on CJC-1295 with DAC or without.

Who this vial is for

You want to inject rarely instead of keeping several times a day: DAC is made for that. You prefer a stable level to pulses: this one too. You would rather imitate the natural rhythm: take CJC-1295 without DAC or Mod GRF 1-29. You want a bigger vial: there is a 10 mg version from Nouveaux Ltd.

One injection on the calendar: results from 2006

The only human study of CJC-1295 with DAC was published in 2006 in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism. It consisted of two double-blind, placebo-controlled trials in healthy adults aged 21 to 61. The half-life was 5.8 to 8.1 days. The rise in hormones depended on the dose.

Time after the injection What was measured
up to 6 days and longer growth hormone 2 to 10 times higher
9 to 11 days IGF-1 still 1.5 to 3 times higher
up to 28 days, after several doses IGF-1 still above baseline

Growth hormone returns to normal faster than IGF-1, because IGF-1 is made only in response to growth hormone. That is why IGF-1 is the better measure of how long one injection works. After several injections a week or two apart, the effects added up. No serious side effects were recorded in the whole study.

Do the natural pulses of secretion remain

This was checked by a second 2006 study, from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Healthy men aged 20 to 40 had blood taken every 20 minutes over 12 hours at night. This was done before the injection and one week after it.

Despite constant stimulation of the receptor, the pulses do not disappear; what rises is the level they start from. The authors link the rise in IGF-1 mainly to this higher background. The whole timeline is described in the guide CJC-1295 with DAC: effects in studies day by day.

Questions

How much CJC-1295 with DAC is in this vial?

5 mg of lyophilised powder from Genheal, in one vial.

What concentration does 2 ml of water give?

2.5 mg per millilitre, which is 25 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe. Other volumes are in the table above.

Is this the same molecule as the Nouveaux Ltd. vial?

Yes. CJC-1295 with DAC is the same compound in every vial here. The difference is the manufacturer and the amount: 5 mg in this one against 10 mg in that one.
