What does the monthly cost depend on?
The monthly cost depends on the weekly dose and the price of one milligram. All three molecules are given once a week, so a month is four doses. Simply multiply the dose by four and by the price per milligram.

How much does a month of semaglutide cost?
A month of semaglutide costs from 30 EUR at the start to 288 EUR at the 2.4 mg dose. The doses come from the Wegovy label schedule, in which each step lasts four weeks. The 2.4 mg dose lowered body weight by 14.9 percent after 68 weeks in STEP 1.

The first 16 weeks of the schedule use 13.8 mg, which is five 3 mg vials for 450 EUR. The amounts in the table are calculated per milligram, but whole vials are bought, so the remainder carries over to the next month.
How much does a month of tirzepatide cost?
A month of tirzepatide costs from 87.50 EUR at the starting dose to 525 EUR at the 15 mg dose from the pen. The Zepbound label starts at 2.5 mg and raises the dose by 2.5 mg after at least four weeks at each step. In SURMOUNT-1 the 5 mg dose gave 15.0 percent weight loss, 10 mg 19.5 percent and 15 mg 20.9 percent.

A month of retatrutide costs from 70 EUR at the starting dose to 420 EUR at the 12 mg dose from the pen. Retatrutide has no label, so the doses come from trials: a start at 2 mg in phase 2 and doses of 4, 9 and 12 mg in phase 3. In TRIUMPH-1 the 4 mg dose gave 17.6 percent weight loss, 9 mg 23.7 percent and 12 mg 25.0 percent.

What gives the most for each euro?
Against the trial results, the middle doses come out best. The table sets the monthly cost of the cheapest form against the result from the main trial of each dose. The trials differed in length and groups, so this is a guide, not a direct comparison.
