What is in the vial
Three manufacturers, all in 10 mg vials of lyophilised powder. The differences between them are price and the batch certificate, not the compound. A 10 mg vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per millilitre; the calculation is in the guide on reconstitution.
The appetite question
GHRP-6 produces intense hunger beginning 15 to 20 minutes after injection, the strongest of the peptides in this group. Whether that is an advantage or an obstacle depends entirely on the goal: it helps when the problem is eating enough, and gets in the way when it is not. Ipamorelin is the usual choice when appetite stimulation is unwanted.
This is the one property of the class that is impossible to miss in practice, and it is also the reason people abandon the compound. It is worth deciding in advance which side of that line you are on, because the effect is not adjustable once the injection is given.
Limits and status
Like GHRP-2, it raises cortisol and prolactin in a dose-dependent way. Its growth hormone amplitude per injection is comparable to ipamorelin or higher. No randomised human trial has measured what any of these peptides does to body composition, strength or recovery. The published data describe hormone concentrations after a single administration, which is a much narrower claim than the advertising suggests.
What it is bought with

How strong is the hunger?
It is the strongest in this group and it starts 15 to 20 minutes after the injection. That is the property GHRP-6 is known for.
How does it differ from GHRP-2?
Both raise cortisol and prolactin dose-dependently. GHRP-2 is regarded as the stronger by peak growth hormone; GHRP-6 by appetite.
Is there a version without the hunger?
Ipamorelin, in the same class, gives minimal appetite stimulation and does not raise cortisol above the level seen after GHRH alone.
Is it allowed in sport?
No. It is prohibited at all times under category S2 of the World Anti-Doping Agency list.
