All three brands of IGF-1 LR3 here hold the same 1 mg, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. Nouveaux Ltd. supplies this product as a dual-chamber cartridge: 1 mg of freeze-dried powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so no liquid has to be moved from one container to another. After activation with the included millilitre the solution stands at 1 mg per millilitre, which is 10 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe.

Nouveaux Ltd. as the manufacturer
Nouveaux Ltd. has the narrowest catalogue of the three and the largest packs: BPC-157 20 mg, CJC-1295 10 mg, sermorelin 10 mg, PEG-MGF 10 mg and follistatin 2 mg are all exclusive to this brand here. A larger pack costs less per milligram, and it also stands longer once dissolved, which is the trade-off to weigh before ordering.
What the evidence says
No human pharmacokinetic study of this analogue has been published, and there are no efficacy or safety data for muscle applications. Hypoglycaemia is the risk most often listed. What the IGF-1 axis is and why it is targeted
IGF-1 is a growth factor that, once bound to its receptor, switches on the pathway labelled PI3K, Akt and mTOR. This pathway increases muscle protein synthesis and slows protein breakdown by blocking proteins of the FOXO family. It also stimulates satellite cells, which take part in building muscle fibres. That mechanism is the basis of all the interest in this group, but it describes what natural IGF-1 does in the body, not what giving its analogue from outside achieves.
What LR3 means
Natural IGF-1 circulates in the blood bound to carrier proteins that limit its availability. The LR3 modification changes the molecule so that it binds to them more weakly, and as a result it stays in its active form for longer. The way it acts on the receptor stays the same; what changes is how available the molecule is.

The second risk matters because it concerns the very system that was meant to be strengthened: giving a growth factor from outside can lower the body's own production, which is how most hormonal loops work.
What is in the molecule
IGF-1 LR3 is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain of 83 amino acids. It contains the full sequence of human IGF-1 with arginine in place of glutamic acid at position 3, which is where R3 in the name comes from, and a 13 amino acid extension at the N-terminal end, which is the Long part. Its molecular mass is 9111.6 daltons. It is produced in E. coli and purified in several chromatography steps.
The cartridge in practice
Preparing a peptide usually means sterile water, a separate vial of powder and a transfer between them, and each step is a chance for contamination. The Nouveaux Ltd. cartridge removes that step: the powder and the solvent are in one pack and are combined inside a closed system. After the chambers are joined you have 1 mg per millilitre, or 10 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe. That is ten times less than a 10 mg vial dissolved the same way, so work it out before the first draw rather than carrying over a habit from another product. Keep the activated cartridge in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light. IGF-1 LR3 is on the World Anti-Doping Agency list in category S2 and is prohibited at all times.

Injection or continuous dosing: a 1996 study
Earlier studies of IGF-1 LR3 gave it continuously, through a pump implanted under the skin. That does not match how people work with a vial or a cartridge. This is why a 1996 study in the Journal of Endocrinology matters. In it, rats received LR3 or ordinary IGF-1 for 7 days, once or twice a day by subcutaneous injection.

The authors concluded that LR3's advantage holds with injections, although it is smaller than with continuous dosing. This comes from the structure of the molecule: LR3 hardly binds to the IGFBP proteins that hold ordinary IGF-1 in the blood, so it reaches the tissues more easily.
Protecting muscle from breakdown
In a 1992 study, rats received dexamethasone, a steroid that breaks down protein. Untreated animals lost 19 grams in a week. The highest dose of ordinary IGF-1 turned this loss into a gain of 6 grams, and LR3 acted about 2.5 times more strongly. The peptides both increased protein building in muscle and limited its breakdown.
These are results from rat studies, not from humans. With LR3 you also need to keep in mind the fall in blood sugar, which in animal studies was stronger and longer than after ordinary IGF-1. All the papers are described in the guide IGF-1 LR3 and DES(1-3) IGF-1.
