What is in the pack
All three brands of ACE-031 here hold the same 10 mg, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. Nouveaux Ltd. supplies this product as a dual-chamber cartridge: 10 mg of freeze-dried powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so no liquid has to be moved from one container to another. After activation with the included millilitre the solution stands at 10 mg per millilitre, which is 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe.

Nouveaux Ltd. as the manufacturer
Nouveaux Ltd. has the narrowest catalogue of the three and the largest packs: BPC-157 20 mg, CJC-1295 10 mg, sermorelin 10 mg, PEG-MGF 10 mg and follistatin 2 mg are all exclusive to this brand here. A larger pack costs less per milligram, and it also stands longer once dissolved, which is the trade-off to weigh before ordering.
What the evidence says

What myostatin is and why block it
Myostatin, also labelled GDF-8, is a protein of the TGF-beta superfamily that restrains the growth of skeletal muscle. Animals and people with a mutation that switches off the myostatin gene have clearly more muscle mass. That observation is the basis of the whole idea of blocking this protein with a drug.
ACE-031 is a fusion protein based on the activin receptor type 2B joined to an antibody fragment. It works as a decoy receptor: it captures myostatin, activin A, activin B and related molecules before they reach muscle cells. That is where the abbreviation ACVR2B in the product name comes from.
The history of the clinical trials
ACE-031 was studied in boys with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, where blocking myostatin was meant to support muscle growth and repair. Acceleron Pharma and Shire halted those trials on 21 April 2011, and on 2 May 2013 they closed the whole programme without resuming it. The reason was safety: some participants had nose and gum bleeding and small dilated blood vessels in the skin, which resolved after stopping. They were linked to blocking BMP9 and BMP10 signals through the activin receptor, which matter for normal blood vessel function.
For a buyer this means the mechanism was tested in clinical conditions and showed both an effect on muscle and an unexpected side effect. We do not write that ACE-031 builds muscle in a proven and safe way: for healthy people there are no clinical data confirming it.

The cartridge in practice
The Nouveaux Ltd. pack is a dual-chamber cartridge: 10 mg of powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so nothing has to be transferred between containers. After activation the solution stands at 10 mg per millilitre, or 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe. Let the powder dissolve on its own, without shaking; this is a large protein and rough handling does it no good. Keep the activated cartridge in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light.

A 2026 study in monkeys
After mice and humans, ACE-031 was also tested in marmosets, small monkeys. The results were published in 2026 in PLoS One. The animals received ACE-031 for 14 weeks, and a control group received placebo.
- Lean mass: rose from baseline, which did not happen in the control group.
- Muscle fibres: in the biceps, fibres of both types, slow and fast, became larger.
- Strength: muscles tested in the laboratory developed more force.
Monkeys are physiologically closer to humans than mice, so this result links two earlier ones. In mice in 2010, individual muscles grew by up to 46 percent after 4 weeks. In healthy women in 2013, a single injection gave 3.3 percent more lean mass after 29 days.
