What is in the vial
Bio-Peptide and Genheal fill 5 mg vials, Nouveaux Ltd. fills 10 mg. A 5 mg vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg per millilitre; the 10 mg vial with the same volume gives 5 mg per millilitre. Why pegylation is used
Natural MGF degrades within minutes, which makes it hard to study and harder to use. Attaching polyethylene glycol slows that clearance. That is the entire rationale, and it is a pharmacokinetic argument, not evidence of an effect.
It also changes what you are buying. Unmodified MGF is a peptide the body produces itself; PEG-MGF is a construct that does not exist in nature, so nothing about the body’s own MGF response after exercise transfers to it automatically. The two are set side by side in MGF and PEG-MGF.
What the evidence is
As of April 2026 no completed randomised trial of MGF or PEG-MGF administration had been published. Human data are limited to observational measurements of the body’s own MGF expression after exercise. The context of the whole IGF axis is in the muscle peptides guide.
We publish no dosing schedules. A longer half-life without an efficacy trial means only that an unknown effect lasts longer.
