What is in this vial
Retatrutide comes here in two 20 mg vials, from Bio-Peptide and Genheal, and in a 40 mg ready-to-use pen from Nouveaux Ltd. Between the two vials the choice is a choice of manufacturer, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 10 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

Genheal as the manufacturer
Genheal covers the growth hormone axis more completely than the other two brands and is the only one here supplying the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend and tesamorelin. Its vials carry a code under the hologram and a batch certificate, checked the same way as any other brand in this shop.
What the evidence says
TRIUMPH-1 gave 25.0 percent weight reduction at 12 mg after 80 weeks, and 30.3 percent at 104 weeks in the subgroup with a body mass index of 35 or above. What retatrutide did to liver fat
The third receptor, the glucagon receptor, shows most clearly in the liver. A phase 2 study published in 2024 in Nature Medicine looked at 98 people with obesity and fatty liver, without diabetes. Liver fat was measured by magnetic resonance imaging. Less than 5 percent fat in liver tissue counted as a normal result.

After 48 weeks, 93 percent of people on 12 mg and 89 percent on 8 mg had a liver without steatosis. At both doses every participant reduced liver fat by at least 30 percent already after 24 weeks. According to the authors, glucagon increases the burning of fatty acids in liver cells. This is shown by beta-hydroxybutyrate, a marker of that burning, which rose two- to threefold in the blood.
Next to semaglutide and tirzepatide
The authors set their result against earlier studies of other molecules. Tirzepatide reduced liver fat by 47 percent after 52 weeks, and semaglutide by about 50 percent after 72 weeks. Retatrutide at 12 mg gave 82.4 percent already after 24 weeks. These numbers come from different studies and different groups, so they are not a direct comparison.
The liver enzymes ALT and AST gave no signals of liver damage. The group had 98 people, so the result concerns a relatively small sample. All the numbers from this study are gathered in the guide Retatrutide and fatty liver.
