What is in this vial
It is the smaller of the BPC-157 vials sold here, which means less substance standing in solution at a time. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

What the evidence says
The strong evidence is from animals: healing of tendon, muscle and ligament injuries and protection of the gastric lining. The human evidence is one small observational study in sixteen people. How much BPC-157 reaches the blood: the first pharmacokinetic study
BPC-157 does not break down in gastric juice, because it is rich in proline and lacks the typical cutting sites for digestive enzymes. Resistance, though, is not the same as absorption. The first paper on what happens to BPC-157 after dosing was published only in 2022, in Frontiers in Pharmacology. It covered rats and dogs.

The peptide was excreted mainly in urine and bile. Even from an injection, only a minority of the dose reached the blood in the rat, and after a few hours none was left in the blood. Oral data from rodent studies concern the effect within the digestive tract itself, where the peptide is in direct contact with the tissue.
No measurements in humans
There are no data at all on BPC-157 absorption in humans. A phase 1 study in healthy volunteers has an unknown status in the registry and has not published results. So it is not known how much of the peptide reaches human blood or how long it stays there, either after injection or after swallowing.
