Recovery peptides are the group most often bought for tendons, ligaments and soft tissue. In this shop it comes down to two molecules, BPC-157 and TB-500, sold separately and as a ready blend, from three manufacturers.

Everything on this page is sold as research material, not as a medicine. Both molecules are prohibited in sport at all times. What the studies actually show, and where they stop, is set out in the guide on how recovery peptides work.

What separates the two molecules

BPC-157 is a fifteen amino acid peptide based on a sequence from human gastric juice. In animal studies it was linked to healing of tendon, muscle and the gastric lining, and it is described as acting locally, at the site where it is applied.

TB-500 is a short fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein present in almost all human cells. It binds free actin, which is why it is studied for cell movement and the formation of blood vessels, and described as acting throughout the body rather than at one point.

The full comparison, including what each was actually tested on, is in the guide on TB-500 compared with BPC-157.

Separate vials or a ready blend?

The blend contains both peptides in one vial. Its advantage is practical: one reconstitution instead of two, and one price instead of two. That is the whole of it.

No study has shown that pre-mixed peptides act differently from the same two given from separate vials. If you want to keep the two apart, or use one without the other, separate vials give you that freedom. Why people combine them at all is explained in the article on BPC-157 and TB-500 together.

How to choose a vial size

Vial size changes how many milligrams you receive, not how the molecule behaves. A 20 mg vial of BPC-157 holds four times what a 5 mg vial holds. Once dissolved, the concentration depends on how much water you add: 10 mg with 2 ml of water gives 5 mg per millilitre, and the same 10 mg with 5 ml gives 2 mg per millilitre.

Larger vials cost less per milligram but are used over a longer period, and a reconstituted solution keeps for about four weeks in the fridge. The arithmetic and the storage limits are covered in reconstituting a peptide and storing peptides.

What this category does not promise

There are no large clinical trials showing that either molecule heals injuries in humans. For BPC-157 the human evidence is one small observational study on knee pain in sixteen people. For the TB-500 fragment there are no completed efficacy trials in humans at all.

Neither is an approved medicine anywhere, and neither has an established safe dose for people. Both are on the World Anti-Doping Agency prohibited list at all times, so for an athlete under testing they mean a real risk of a multi-year ban.

Checking that a vial is genuine

Bio-Peptide and Genheal products carry a code hidden under a hologram, which you verify on the manufacturer's own website after purchase. A credible certificate of analysis states purity by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry, and can be checked at source. The whole procedure is described in how to spot a counterfeit peptide.

Frequently asked questions

Which is better, BPC-157 or TB-500?

No trial has compared them in humans. They have different mechanisms and both have sparse human evidence, so neither can be called better on the basis of data.

Is the ready blend better value?

It saves one reconstitution and is priced as a single product. It has no demonstrated advantage in effect over the same peptides bought separately.

What vial sizes are available?

BPC-157 comes in 5 mg and 20 mg vials, TB-500 in 10 mg vials, and the blend in a 10 mg vial.

Can I order these from outside Poland?

Yes. International shipping costs 30 EUR paid in advance or 80 EUR cash on delivery. Details are on the shipping and payments page.

Are these products legal where I live?

That depends on your country. They are sold as research material, not as medicines, and rules differ between jurisdictions. Check the rules that apply to you before ordering.
