TB-500, 10 mg. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 covering the actin-binding section of that protein, bought alongside BPC-157 for soft tissue.

What is in this vial

All three brands of TB-500 here come in the same 10 mg vial, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

The conversion of an amount into insulin syringe units is worked through in the guide on syringe units, and the rules that change once the powder is dissolved are in storage.

Genheal as the manufacturer

Genheal covers the growth hormone axis more completely than the other two brands and is the only one here supplying the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend and tesamorelin. Its vials carry a code under the hologram and a batch certificate, checked the same way as any other brand in this shop.

What the evidence says

The mechanism rests on binding free actin. No completed efficacy trial in humans had been published for the fragment as of April 2026; the phase 3 data belong to full thymosin beta-4 as eye drops. The full account, with the sources and the limits, is on the TB-500 page, and the background in the guide on TB-500 compared with BPC-157.

We publish no dosing schedules. Sold as research material, not as a medicine.

Genheal is the brand to pick if you also want the BPC-157 and TB-500 blend from the same producer, since it is the only one filling it here. The single-peptide vial on this page holds 10 mg, the same as the other two brands, so the decision is about documentation and price rather than content.

Concentration in this vial

Water added Concentration Per unit on a U-100 syringe
1 ml 10 mg/ml 100 mcg
2 ml 5 mg/ml 50 mcg
5 ml 2 mg/ml 20 mcg

The table is arithmetic and nothing else: it converts the 10 mg in this vial into the concentration you get for a chosen volume of bacteriostatic water. It is not a dosing recommendation, and we publish none.

This vial next to the other TB-500 vials

The same compound is sold here in two other versions: Bio-Peptide, 10 mg and Nouveaux Ltd., 10 mg. The molecule is identical in each; what differs is the manufacturer. All three hold the same amount, so the choice here is the manufacturer and its batch certificate, not the size.

Also from Genheal in this group

Within Recovery peptides, Genheal also supplies BPC-157 5 mg and BPC-157 and TB-500 blend 10 mg.

What TB-500 actually is

TB-500 is often confused with thymosin beta-4, and they are not the same thing. Thymosin beta-4 is a natural protein of 43 amino acids present in many tissues. TB-500 is a short section of it made in a laboratory, covering the actin-binding part described by the sequence Ac-LKKTETQ. What is in the vial is a fragment, not the whole protein, and that difference comes back in every honest account of the research.

How actin binding is meant to work

Actin exists in the cell in two forms: free, globular molecules and filaments built from them. TB-500 is meant to bind the free form and make it harder for it to join into filaments. A cell that rebuilds its skeleton faster moves more easily, which is where the effects on cell migration and on the formation of new blood vessels described in the literature come from.

Thymosin beta-4 is present throughout the body, not in one organ, which is why TB-500 is studied for a systemic action. That sets it apart from BPC-157, described mainly as a peptide with a local action.

Preparing the solution

The Genheal box holds one 1 ml solvent ampoule. Take the plastic cap off the vial and wipe the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab. Draw the whole millilitre of solvent, insert the needle at an angle and direct the stream onto the inside wall of the glass, so that the liquid runs down the wall rather than hitting the powder. Leave the vial for a few minutes; the powder dissolves on its own. Do not shake or swirl the vial. Keep the finished solution in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light.

Common mistakes when dissolving

The first mistake is shaking the vial to speed things up; a peptide is a delicate molecule and that energy does it no good. The second is aiming the stream straight at the powder, which breaks it up and sprays it over the walls. The third is keeping the ready solution out of the fridge for a whole day, for example on a kitchen counter. The fourth concerns the syringe: at 10,000 mcg per millilitre one unit is 100 mcg, so a mistake of one mark changes the result by hundreds of micrograms.

Who this vial is for

You are taking TB-500 for the first time and want the simplest possible set: this vial is enough. You work at one concentration for a longer time and do not need a second ampoule: this one too. You want freedom to choose the concentration: then go for Bio-Peptide, which comes with two 1 ml ampoules. Nouveaux Ltd. is a dual-chamber cartridge with a fixed concentration.

TB-500 and the Achilles tendon: a 2026 study

The newest study of TB-500 and tendons appeared in 2026 in Joint Diseases and Related Surgery. Researchers cut and sutured the Achilles tendon in 32 rats. The animals were randomly split into four groups of 8: control, TB-500, BPC-157 and both peptides. Treatment lasted 4 weeks.

What was measured Result with TB-500
Maximum load to tendon failure significantly higher than in the control group
Tendon structure on the Bonar scale significantly better
Tendon structure on the Movin scale significantly better
Type III collagen a significant difference between groups

In this study TB-500 came out best of all the groups. Only with it did the gain in tendon strength cross the threshold of statistical significance. BPC-157 gave a favourable direction, but without significance, and combining both peptides added nothing beyond either alone.

An earlier study of the heart

Full thymosin beta-4 was also tested in the heart. In a 2004 paper in Nature, mice had a coronary artery tied off, causing a heart attack. Thymosin beta-4 activated the enzyme ILK in heart cells and stimulated the migration of heart muscle cells, their survival and heart repair. It is one of the most frequently cited papers on this molecule.

Both papers concern animals. No completed efficacy studies in humans have been published for the TB-500 fragment itself, and TB-500 is on the WADA list, banned at all times. Tendons are covered in more detail in the guide Peptides and tendon and ligament injuries.

Questions

How much TB-500 is in this vial?

10 mg of lyophilised powder from Genheal, in one vial.

What concentration does 2 ml of water give?

5 mg per millilitre, which is 50 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe. Other volumes are in the table above.

Is this the same molecule as the Bio-Peptide vial?

Yes. TB-500 is the same compound in every vial here, and both hold 10 mg. What differs is the manufacturer and the batch certificate that comes with it.
