TB-500, 10 mg. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 covering the actin-binding section of that protein, bought alongside BPC-157 for soft tissue.

What is in this vial

All three brands of TB-500 here come in the same 10 mg vial, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

The conversion of an amount into insulin syringe units is worked through in the guide on syringe units, and the rules that change once the powder is dissolved are in storage.

Bio-Peptide as the manufacturer

Bio-Peptide has the widest catalogue of the three brands we stock: it is the only one supplying glutathione, NAD+, GHK-Cu, MOTS-C, SLU-PP-332 and semaglutide, so an order from this manufacturer can usually be filled from one supplier. Every vial carries a code under the hologram and a batch certificate, and how to check both is described on the verification page.

What the evidence says

The mechanism rests on binding free actin. No completed efficacy trial in humans had been published for the fragment as of April 2026; the phase 3 data belong to full thymosin beta-4 as eye drops. The full account, with the sources and the limits, is on the TB-500 page, and the background in the guide on TB-500 compared with BPC-157.

We publish no dosing schedules. Sold as research material, not as a medicine.

All three brands fill TB-500 in 10 mg vials, so nothing here separates them by quantity. What separates Bio-Peptide is the range around it: this is the brand you can build a whole order from, including the compounds no other manufacturer here lists.

Concentration in this vial

Water added Concentration Per unit on a U-100 syringe
1 ml 10 mg/ml 100 mcg
2 ml 5 mg/ml 50 mcg
5 ml 2 mg/ml 20 mcg

The table is arithmetic and nothing else: it converts the 10 mg in this vial into the concentration you get for a chosen volume of bacteriostatic water. It is not a dosing recommendation, and we publish none.

This vial next to the other TB-500 vials

The same compound is sold here in two other versions: Genheal, 10 mg and Nouveaux Ltd., 10 mg. The molecule is identical in each; what differs is the manufacturer. All three hold the same amount, so the choice here is the manufacturer and its batch certificate, not the size.

Also from Bio-Peptide in this group

Within Recovery peptides, Bio-Peptide also supplies BPC-157 5 mg.

TB-500 and BPC-157 are two different molecules

These two peptides end up in the same basket so often that it is easy to treat them as variants of one thing. They are not. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4, a protein of 43 amino acids present in many tissues. BPC-157 is a standalone peptide of 15 amino acids, based on a protein found in gastric juice.

Feature TB-500 BPC-157
Origin Fragment of thymosin beta-4 Fragment of a protein from gastric juice
Structure Short section of a larger protein Standalone peptide of 15 amino acids
Described action Studied as systemic Described mainly as local
Human data No completed efficacy studies for the fragment One small observational study
Status in sport Prohibited at all times, category S2 Prohibited at all times

The full comparison with sources is in the guide on TB-500 versus BPC-157.

Two ampoules, two scenarios

The Bio-Peptide box holds two solvent ampoules. Scenario one: you dissolve the whole 10 mg in one millilitre. The solution takes little room in the vial, and one syringe unit is a round 100 mcg, which makes mental arithmetic easy.

Scenario two: you use both ampoules and have two millilitres of solution. The concentration drops to 5000 mcg per millilitre and one syringe unit equals 50 mcg. This gives a finer scale and a smaller cost of a mistake. The choice is made once, when dissolving, and cannot be changed later. A spare ampoule also helps if the first one breaks when opened.

Legal and sport status

TB-500 is not a registered medicine in any country. The World Anti-Doping Agency lists it in category S2 with a year-round ban, in and out of competition. An athlete subject to testing needs to know this before buying, not after.

Who this vial is for

You want a weaker solution and a finer scale on the syringe: this vial gives you that. You want TB-500 together with BPC-157 in one vial: there is a ready blend of both.

Wound healing: the study that started this molecule

Interest in thymosin beta-4 as a healing factor began with a 1999 paper in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology. The researchers tested full thymosin beta-4 on skin wounds in rats, in a full-thickness wound model. In parallel, they checked how it acts on skin cells in the laboratory.

What was measured Thymosin beta-4 result
Skin regrowth after 4 days 42 percent more than after saline
Skin regrowth after 7 days up to 61 percent more
Wound contraction by day 7 at least 11 percent more
Migration of skin cells in the laboratory 2 to 3 times greater than without the peptide, already after 4 to 5 hours

Cell migration is the key to understanding this molecule. Thymosin beta-4 binds actin, the protein responsible for cell movement, and so cells move into the wound faster. In this study a very small amount of peptide was enough to stimulate migration.

TB-500 is not the whole of thymosin beta-4, only its short actin-binding section. In later papers from 2003, this same seven-amino-acid section sped up wound healing in diabetic mice and in old animals, much like the full molecule. All these data come from animal and cell studies. The differences from BPC-157 are described in the guide TB-500 and BPC-157.

Questions

How much TB-500 is in this vial?

10 mg of lyophilised powder from Bio-Peptide, in one vial.

What concentration does 2 ml of water give?

5 mg per millilitre, which is 50 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe. Other volumes are in the table above.

Is this the same molecule as the Genheal vial?

Yes. TB-500 is the same compound in every vial here, and both hold 10 mg. What differs is the manufacturer and the batch certificate that comes with it.

Verification and delivery
