What is in the pack
All three brands of Ipamorelin here hold the same 10 mg, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. Nouveaux Ltd. supplies this product as a dual-chamber cartridge: 10 mg of freeze-dried powder in one chamber and 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so no liquid has to be moved from one container to another. After activation with the included millilitre the solution stands at 10 mg per millilitre, which is 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe.

What the evidence says
Its single completed human trial tested postoperative ileus in 114 patients and missed its primary endpoint. There are no studies of its effect on body composition or muscle mass. A study in patients and newer data on appetite
Ipamorelin has been tested in humans not only in growth hormone measurements. In 2014 the International Journal of Colorectal Disease described a randomised, controlled study in 114 patients after surgery to remove part of the bowel. Ipamorelin mimics ghrelin, so the question was whether it would speed up the return of bowel function.

The direction was favourable, but the difference did not cross the significance threshold, and development for this indication was stopped.
Protecting body weight during chemotherapy in animals
In 2024, Physiology and Behavior described a study in ferrets given cisplatin, a cancer drug that strongly reduces appetite and body weight. Ipamorelin reduced the loss of body weight on day three by about 24 percent. The same study also tested anamorelin, another molecule acting through the ghrelin receptor.
