What is in this vial
All three brands of Ipamorelin here come in the same 10 mg vial, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

What the evidence says
Its single completed human trial tested postoperative ileus in 114 patients and missed its primary endpoint. There are no studies of its effect on body composition or muscle mass. A timeline from the studies: from minutes to months
The first effect of ipamorelin was measured in humans. A 1999 study in Pharmaceutical Research tested five doses, each in eight healthy men, as an intravenous infusion lasting 15 minutes. Growth hormone peaked about 40 minutes after the start of the infusion. The hormone level then fell almost to zero, and ipamorelin itself left the blood with a half-life of 2 hours.
Each dose therefore gave one clear pulse of growth hormone. The body releases this hormone in pulses on its own, so this rhythm is close to the natural one. Longer effects were measured in animals.

The last row is the most interesting. For three months the rats received the steroid methylprednisolone, which breaks down muscle and slows bone repair. In the ipamorelin group, maximum calf muscle strength was significantly higher than in the steroid-only group. The authors write that ipamorelin counteracted the loss of strength and bone formation caused by the steroid.
