Two receptors firing together give a larger pulse than either alone. As of April 2026 no randomised human trial had been published for any specific pair of this kind. Why exactly this pair
The set brings together two different mechanisms. GHRP-2 is a synthetic hexapeptide, one of the met-enkephalin analogues built with unnatural D-amino acids, and it acts on the growth hormone secretagogue receptor, now called the ghrelin receptor. It is not a fragment of GHRH and does not act on the GHRH receptor at all. CJC-1295 in this set is the short-acting form, also known as modified GRF 1-29: a tetrasubstituted analogue of growth hormone releasing hormone that acts on the GHRH receptor.
GHRP peptides and GHRH analogues act through two different pituitary receptors, and stimulating both at once gives a larger growth hormone release than a single compound. That is the whole reason for combining them, and it is why the pairing is one of the classic ready-made sets.
What GHRP-2 brings, and what it costs
Of the three GHRPs compared in our guide, GHRP-2 is regarded as giving the highest growth hormone peak. Like GHRP-6 and hexarelin, it raises cortisol and prolactin in a dose-dependent way. As a ghrelin receptor agonist it also increases appetite, moderately, and less than GHRP-6, which is why it is the more common choice of the two when hunger is not wanted.
Food and timing
Raised blood glucose and insulin blunt the growth hormone release these peptides produce, which is why this pair is usually described as taken on an empty stomach. That is physiology, not a dosing schedule: no clinical trial has been published for this specific set, and we publish no schedule for it.
The cartridge in practice
The Nouveaux Ltd. pack is a dual-chamber cartridge: 5 mg of GHRP-2 and 5 mg of CJC-1295 as powder in one chamber, 1 ml of solvent in the other. The chambers are joined just before first use, so nothing has to be transferred between containers. After activation the solution holds 10 mg per millilitre in total, which is 5 mg of each peptide, or 50 mcg of each per unit on a U-100 syringe. Keep the activated cartridge in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius, away from light; left at room temperature for days, peptides degrade.

You want the pairing with the strongest GHRP in one pack, with nothing to prepare: this is the set. You want the same logic with minimal hunger and no cortisol rise: take ipamorelin and CJC-1295. The profile of GHRP-2 that emerges from these studies: a very strong growth hormone pulse, a moderate rise in appetite and an effect on cortisol similar to that of the natural hormone that stimulates the adrenal glands. That last feature is why GHRP-2 is combined with a GHRH analogue. In a 1996 study with hexarelin, a peptide from the same family, adding GHRH gave a large growth hormone pulse at a small GHRP dose and with no rise in cortisol.
One cartridge or two separate products
This cartridge costs 35 EUR for 10 mg of both peptides. From the same manufacturer, GHRP-2 10 mg costs 25 EUR and CJC-1295 10 mg costs 50 EUR. So the cartridge comes out clearly cheaper per pack and needs one preparation instead of two. Two separate products, on the other hand, give more material and the option of changing the ratio.
