What is in this cartridge
12 mg of somatropin, which is 36 IU, for 90 EUR. One chamber holds the powder, the other 1 ml of solvent. You do not transfer anything from an ampoule into a vial: the solvent passes into the powder inside the cartridge. The cartridges of the medicine Genotropin are built the same way, with somatropin in the front chamber and solvent in the rear.
Less transferring means fewer chances to contaminate the solution or to foam the protein, and growth hormone is a large molecule that does not tolerate shaking.
Concentration after mixing
The whole content dissolves in 1 ml, so the concentration is fixed: 12 mg, or 36 IU, per millilitre. Every 0.01 ml of solution holds 0.36 IU (120 mcg). A larger volume is not possible with this cartridge, because the solvent is sealed inside it. The international standard for somatropin is 3 IU per milligram, which is where 36 IU comes from.

Somatropin is the active substance of prescription medicines. In the US, the Genotropin label covers children with growth failure and adults with growth hormone deficiency. This cartridge is not a medicine but research material with the same substance. In sport growth hormone is banned at all times under group S2.2.3 of the 2026 World Anti-Doping Agency list. Storage
