What is in this vial

All three brands of GHRP-6 and CJC-1295 here come in the same 10 mg vial, so the choice between them is a choice of manufacturer and price, not of quantity. The powder has no concentration of its own: it is set when you add the water. This vial with 2 ml of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg per millilitre, and with twice that volume, half as much.

Why exactly this pair

Peptides that stimulate growth hormone release fall into two families, and that distinction explains the whole point of combining them. The first family is the GHRH analogues, analogues of growth hormone releasing hormone, and CJC-1295 belongs to it. The second is the secretagogues acting through the ghrelin receptor, labelled GHS-R1a, and GHRP-6 sits here. Each knocks on a different door of the same pituitary.

How it works in the cell

Stimulating the GHRH receptor raises cyclic AMP in the cell and opens voltage-gated calcium channels. Stimulating the ghrelin receptor works by another route, mainly through protein kinase C and a separate calcium-dependent pathway. When both mechanisms run at once, the resulting growth hormone pulse is stronger than the sum of each on its own. That is the whole idea of the set.

Worth knowing: the support for this reasoning comes from studies of related combinations of a GHRH analogue with a GHRP peptide, not of this exact pair. No randomised human trials have been published for GHRP-6 with CJC-1295 as such. The mechanism is described; the effect in people has not been measured.

What GHRP-6 brings

GHRP-6 is a hexapeptide, a molecule of six amino acids, acting through the same receptor as ghrelin, the hormone behind hunger among other things. Hence its best-known feature: of all the peptides in this group it stimulates appetite most strongly, starting 15 to 20 minutes after injection. In peak growth hormone per injection it gives an amplitude comparable to ipamorelin or higher. The same feature can help or hinder: when building mass, hunger helps you eat the planned amount; in a fat-loss phase it gets in the way, and then ipamorelin with CJC-1295 is the more sensible pairing.

What CJC-1295 brings

CJC-1295 is a synthetic GHRH analogue developed in the early 2000s. It exists in two versions that differ in duration of action. The version with the DAC linker binds to blood albumin and acts for 6 to 8 days, so it is given once or twice a week. The version without DAC, also known as Mod GRF 1-29, has a half-life of about 30 minutes and imitates the natural pulsed release of the hormone. Check the label to see which version you have, because the whole rhythm of use depends on it.

Preparing the solution

The Genheal box holds one solvent ampoule. Let the vial and the ampoule reach room temperature, wipe the rubber stoppers with an alcohol swab and let them dry. Draw 1 ml of solvent and add it slowly, directing the stream onto the wall of the vial rather than onto the powder. Do not shake the vial; leave it until the powder dissolves on its own, usually within a few minutes. Keep the ready solution in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. On the World Anti-Doping Agency list, GHRH analogues and growth hormone secretagogues are in category S2, prohibited at all times.

For people who want to stimulate their own hormonal axis rather than give growth hormone from outside, and who accept stronger appetite as part of the effect. The Genheal version, with one solvent ampoule, is the simplest way into this pair. So the blend is cheaper per pack and simpler to prepare, while two vials give more material and control over the ratio. The choice depends on what matters more: convenience and lower cost, or the option of changing one component.

What to expect from the GHRP-6 component

GHRP-6 stimulates appetite more strongly than any other peptide in this group, starting 15 to 20 minutes after injection. When building mass, when it is hard to eat enough calories, this is an advantage. During a cut the same feature gets in the way, and then the pair with ipamorelin is the better choice.

In a 1995 night study, growth hormone after GHRP-6 was 15.4 ng/ml against 5.5 on placebo, but cortisol was 56.0 against 25.2 ng/ml. In a 1996 study with hexarelin, a peptide from the same family, adding GHRH gave a large growth hormone pulse at a small GHRP dose and with no rise in cortisol.
