Terms and conditions

These terms apply from 19 September 2026.

§ 1. Who runs the shop

The online shop peptyd.org, operating at https://peptyd.org, is run by Tomasz Kozielski, ul. Poznańska 16, 00-680 Warszawa, Poland, referred to below as the Seller.
The Seller trades as an unregistered activity within the meaning of Article 5 of the Polish Act of 6 March 2018 on Entrepreneurs’ Law (Prawo przedsiębiorców). The Seller has no entry in the Polish business register (CEIDG) and no tax identification number (NIP).

Customer means a natural person, a legal person or an organisational unit that places an order in the shop.
Consumer means a Customer who is a natural person concluding a contract not directly connected with their business or profession.
Entrepreneur with consumer rights means a natural person concluding a contract directly connected with their business, where the content of the contract shows that it is not of a professional nature for them. Such a person has the rights described in Article 38a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
Product means goods presented in the shop that may be the subject of a contract of sale.
Order means the Customer’s declaration of intent, submitted through the form in the shop, aimed at concluding a contract of sale.

The products offered in the shop are material intended for research and laboratory purposes. They are not medicinal products, dietary supplements or foodstuffs and are not intended for use in humans or animals.
Product descriptions are for information. Information about scientific studies quoted in descriptions and on the blog is not a recommendation for use or a promise of any particular effect.
Some substances offered in the shop are on the Prohibited List of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Details are given at https://peptyd.org/en/legal-warning/.
Orders may be placed only by adults with full legal capacity.
The Customer is responsible for checking whether importing and possessing the ordered product is permitted in the country of delivery.

To use the shop you need a device with internet access, an up-to-date web browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled, and an active e-mail address.
The Customer must not supply content of an unlawful nature.
Creating an account in the shop is voluntary. The account can be deleted at any time by writing to info@peptyd.org.

Information about products in the shop is not an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code but an invitation to conclude a contract.
To place an order, the Customer adds products to the cart, provides the details needed to fulfil it, chooses the delivery and payment method, accepts these terms and clicks the button confirming the order with an obligation to pay.
After placing the order, the Customer receives an e-mail at the address given confirming that the order has been accepted. The contract of sale is concluded when that e-mail is received.
The content of the contract is recorded and made available to the Customer by sending these terms and the order confirmation to the Customer’s e-mail address.

Product prices are given in Polish zloty and are final prices. The Seller is not registered for VAT.
Amounts in foreign currencies shown in the foreign-language versions of the shop are indicative. Payment is made in Polish zloty.
The cost of delivery is added to the price and shown in the cart before the order is placed.
Available payment methods: bank transfer to the Seller’s account (payment in advance) and payment on delivery (cash on delivery), where available for the chosen delivery method.
When paying by bank transfer, the Customer pays for the order within 7 days of placing it. If payment is not made within that time, the order is cancelled.

The Seller delivers products within Poland and to other countries. Current delivery methods and costs are described at https://peptyd.org/en/shipping-and-payments/.
The order is dispatched within 24 hours of the payment being credited, or, for cash on delivery, within 24 hours of the order being placed.
Delivery time depends on the carrier and the country of delivery.
The Customer should inspect the parcel on receipt. Damage visible on the packaging is best recorded in the carrier’s damage report, which makes a complaint easier to handle. The absence of such a report does not deprive the Consumer of the rights set out in § 8.

The Seller is liable to the Consumer for the conformity of the product with the contract on the terms set out in Chapter 5a of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, in particular for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery and becoming apparent within two years of that time.
A complaint may be sent to info@peptyd.org or to the postal address. It helps to give your name, the order number, a description of the lack of conformity, photographs and what you are asking for.
Where the product does not conform to the contract, the Consumer may demand repair or replacement, and, where that is not possible or the Seller refuses, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract, on the terms of Articles 43d and 43e of the Polish Consumer Rights Act.
The Seller replies to a complaint within 14 days of receiving it.
Towards Customers who are neither Consumers nor Entrepreneurs with consumer rights, liability under the statutory warranty is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

A Consumer or an Entrepreneur with consumer rights may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. The rules, the exceptions and the model form are described at https://peptyd.org/en/returns-and-withdrawal/, which forms part of these terms.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to a product supplied in sealed packaging which is not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging has been opened after delivery (Article 38(1)(5) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).

The controller of Customers’ personal data is the Seller. The rules for processing data are set out in the privacy policy.

A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, in particular the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) and the permanent consumer arbitration courts at the regional inspectorates of the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) in Poland.
Information on these procedures is available on the website of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), https://www.uokik.gov.pl.

The Seller may amend these terms for important reasons, in particular a change in the law or in payment or delivery methods. Orders placed before the change are governed by the terms in the wording in force on the day the order was placed.
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act and the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services.
Nothing in these terms limits the Consumer’s rights under mandatory provisions of law.
